Terms of Use

These Terms govern use of the FlixTera website, application resources and FlixTera Social Publisher. By accessing or using these services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

1. The services

FlixTera provides movie and TV discovery information, application resources and related tools. FlixTera Social Publisher enables authorized users to prepare, upload, schedule and publish content to social media accounts they control through official platform interfaces and APIs.

Features may vary by platform, account type, region, application-review status and the permissions granted by the user.

2. Eligibility

You must have legal capacity to accept these Terms and meet the minimum age and account requirements of each connected platform. If you act for an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to bind it.

3. Account authority

You may connect and publish only to accounts you own or are expressly authorized to manage. You must not access another person's account or credentials without permission.

4. Platform authorization and permissions

Connections are made through official OAuth or platform authorization screens. The publisher does not require your social-platform password. You control whether to grant, deny or revoke requested permissions.

YouTube: the application may request youtube.upload to upload videos to the channel you authorize.
TikTok: the application may request basic-profile, upload or direct-publish permissions such as user.info.basic, video.upload and video.publish, subject to TikTok approval.
Instagram: the application may request eligible Professional-account basic and content-publishing permissions.

You may disconnect an account at any time. Revocation prevents future API actions but does not automatically remove content already published.

5. Publishing instructions and consent

You are responsible for the media, caption, title, hashtags, visibility, schedule, commercial-content declarations, AI-generated-content labels, music confirmations and interaction settings used for each post.

When scheduling or enabling automated publishing, you authorize FlixTera Social Publisher to submit the selected content and metadata at the configured time until the schedule is disabled or access is revoked. TikTok publishing actions remain subject to TikTok's required user controls, creator-information checks, audit status and available privacy options.

A successful upload request does not guarantee publication, visibility, reach or continued availability. Each platform independently processes, reviews and may remove content.

6. Your content and required rights

You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant FlixTera a limited, non-exclusive license to host, encode, resize, transfer and process that content only as needed to provide the requested publishing service.

You confirm that you own or have all necessary rights, licenses, releases and permissions for videos, images, music, voices, trademarks and other materials you publish. You must not upload pirated films, unauthorized scenes, unlawfully copied promotional assets, or material that violates copyright, privacy, publicity or other rights.

If content is generated or materially altered using artificial intelligence, you must apply any disclosure required by the destination platform and applicable law.

7. Acceptable use

You must not use the services to:

Publish unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, abusive or infringing content.
Impersonate another person or misrepresent account ownership or authorization.
Distribute spam, malware, phishing content or artificial engagement.
Bypass platform review, privacy choices, rate limits, security controls or API restrictions.
Remove watermarks, attribution or rights-management information without authorization.
Collect, sell or misuse another person's platform data or credentials.
Use the service in a way that violates YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Meta or other connected-platform rules.

8. Third-party platforms

You remain subject to the terms, community guidelines, developer rules, music rules and privacy policies of each connected platform, including the YouTube Terms of Service, YouTube API Services policies, TikTok Terms of Service, and applicable Meta Platform Terms.

FlixTera is not endorsed by YouTube, Google, TikTok, ByteDance, Instagram or Meta. Their names and marks belong to their respective owners.

9. Security

Keep your FlixTera access, email and connected accounts secure. Notify us promptly if you believe a connection is unauthorized. Never send passwords, refresh tokens or API keys through ordinary support messages.

10. Privacy

Our collection, use, storage and deletion of information is described in the Privacy Policy, including instructions for revoking platform access and requesting data deletion.

11. Availability and changes

We may update, suspend or discontinue features to address security, maintenance, legal requirements or third-party API changes. Connected platforms may change permissions, quotas, token validity, review requirements and publishing capabilities without notice.

12. Suspension and termination

We may restrict or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect users, platform integrations or the service, or when these Terms or applicable platform rules are violated. You may stop using the service and revoke platform access at any time.

13. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The services are provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, platform approval, publication, reach, monetization or compatibility with every device or account.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, FlixTera will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses resulting from third-party platform decisions, account restrictions, removed content, lost reach, API outages or unauthorized use caused by failure to secure an account. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.

14. Updates and contact

We may revise these Terms as the service or platform requirements change. Continued use after an updated effective date means you accept the revised Terms where permitted by law.
